Description:
This driver is for the RTI VXU-SC Soft Codec Video Conferencing System.
RTI VXU-SC - Soft Codec Video Conferencing System
V 1.0 Initial release of the driver. Tested with a RTI VXU-SC at baud rate
57600.
Connection
Serial:
Port- Select the port you wish to send/receive from
note: Driver is set to work at 57600, make sure web interface of
VXU-SC is set to 57600.
TCP/IP:
TCP address- The IP address of the device on the network
Control
Switching:
There are commands to switch the Output to each of the available six Inputs including:
TXHDMI, VGA, DP, USBC, RXHDMI1, RXHDMI2).
Relay:
There are commands to set each of the two available relays to either “Open” or “Close”.
In addition there’s the option to use relays in conjunction to operate a screen.
Display Control:
The option to turn Display Control “On” and “Off” is available through the driver.
CEC:
The CEC functionality can be turned “On” and “Off” as well as alter the “Power Delay
Time”.
Key Lock:
The option to turn Key Lock “On” and “Off” is available in the driver.
Variables
Inputs:
There are Boolean (true/false) variables for each of the six inputs including: TXHDMI,
VGA, DP, USBC, RXHDMI1, RXHDMI2. In addition there are three String (text) variables
to reflect the current input on both the “Transmitter”, “Receiver”, and overall “Selected
Input”. The selected input is the only text variable that updates as input selection
transitions between the transmitter and receiver.
Relays:
A String (text) variable to reflect the “Mode” of the relays is available as well as Boolean
(true/false) variables for both “Latch” and “Momentary”.
note – variables reflecting the state of the relays is not available, for that information a
sense would need to be utilized.
General:
The option to get feedback on the state/status of other features like “Auto-Switching” “Key
Lock”, “CEC”, and “Display Control” are also available.
APEX
Template:
When the driver is loaded it will look for a template named “Conference Room” and use it
if one exists.
