Description:
This driver allows control over the RTI Multi-Z AMP series. It utilizes mDNS to easily pull the connected device IP addresses into Integration Designer, giving the programmer easy access to add whatever devices are needed to be controlled via RTI. This driver supports functions for enabling the generator, input sensitivity, input gain, input stereo/mono control on primary inputs (1, 3 and 5), input mic sensitivity, zone source, zone gain, zone stereo/mono control on primary zones (A, C), zone mute, output polarity, output mode, output high pass, output mute, output delay time, compressor auto, compressor threshold, compressor ratio, compressor hold, compressor knee, and compressor bypass.
Version History:
Version 1.0: Initial Release
Version 1.01: Updated script in Integration Designer to be more resiliant before updating/touching driver config.
Version 1.02: Updated script to fix issues with data selections saving in Integration Designer.
Version 1.03: Fixed roomaudiosource autoprogramming
Version 1.10: Fixed random loss of zone control, incrementing/decrementing volume changes, and SPDIF commands.
Version 1.20:
- Added support for AMP-2-125, AMP-2-125D, AMP-4-125D, AMP-8-125D.
- Dante-variant models (D suffix) expose 4 Dante input channels with gain control.
- Added Zone Source Name variable (Zone1SrcName–Zone8SrcName).
- Fixed command line terminator for compatibility with firmware update.
- Fixed command queue drain after timeout.

Driver Features
This driver allows control over the RTI Multi-Z AMP series over TCP (port 7621). It utilizes mDNS to easily pull connected device IP addresses into Integration Designer. Subscriptions keep state current in real time without polling.
Supported controls include: input gain, input sensitivity, zone source selection, zone gain, zone mute, zone stereo, output source routing, output source channel, output mute, output polarity, output mode, output highpass, output delay time, output delay bypass, and compressor controls (auto, threshold, ratio, hold, knee, bypass).
Dante-variant models additionally support gain control over 4 Dante input channels.
Supported Models
2-Channel:
- AMP-2-125 — 2 zones (A–B), 2 analog inputs, 2 outputs
- AMP-2-125D — 2 zones (A–B), 2 analog inputs, 4 Dante inputs, 2 outputs
4-Channel:
- AMP-4-125 — 4 zones (A–D), 4 analog inputs, 4 outputs
- AMP-4-125D — 4 zones (A–D), 4 analog inputs, 4 Dante inputs, 4 outputs
8-Channel:
- AMP-8-125 — 8 zones (A–H), 8 analog inputs, 8 outputs
- AMP-8-125D — 8 zones (A–H), 8 analog inputs, 4 Dante inputs, 8 outputs
System Requirements & Prerequisites
RTI System Requirements
- Integration Designer: 11.8
- XP FW: 24
Device Requirements
- RTI Multi-Z AMP (any model listed above)
- Firmware 2026.15.1 or later recommended
- Network (LAN) connectivity on the same subnet as the RTI processor
Driver Configuration
Model
Select the amplifier model. This controls how many zones, inputs, and outputs the driver exposes. Changing the model requires re-running Connect to device to repopulate names.
IP Address
The IP address of the amplifier. Click the search button in Integration Designer to discover via mDNS.
Port
TCP communication port. Default: 7621.
Input / Output / Zone Names
Name fields are read-only and populated automatically when you run Connect to device. They reflect the names stored on the amplifier itself.
Device Setup
- Connect the amp to the same LAN as the RTI processor.
- In Integration Designer, add the driver and select the correct Model.
- Enter the IP address or use the search button to discover the amp via mDNS.
- Right-click the driver instance and choose Connect to device to pull input, output, and zone names from the amp.
Driver Related Notes
Input stereo link control is only available on primary inputs (1, 3, 5).
Zone stereo control is only available on primary zones (A, C).
Zone source is set using a numeric Source ID (SID). Analog inputs begin at 100, SPDIF at 200, Dante inputs at 300.
Dante input channels (IN-300–IN-303) are only present on D-suffix models and only appear in the Dante Input variable and function categories when a Dante model is selected. Dante inputs support gain control only; mute is not supported by the device API.
Each zone exposes a Zone Source Name variable (e.g. Zone1SrcName) that automatically updates to the display name of the zone's current source whenever the source changes. This eliminates the need for a Layer Switch workaround to show the active input name on a UI page.
There are 3 scales for EACH input and zone volume:
- Input 1 Volume (-15–15) — InputGain_1 — range: -15 to 15
- Input 1 Volume (0–30) — InputGainNative_1 — range: 0 to 30
Input 1 Volume — InputGainSimple_1 — range: 0 to 100
Zone 1 Volume (-80–0) — Zone1Gain — range: -80 to 0
- Zone 1 Volume (0–80) — Zone1GainNative — range: 0 to 80
- Zone 1 Volume — Zone1GainSimple — range: 0 to 100
System Testing
