Description:
This driver is for QSC's MP-M Music and Paging Zone Mixers.
QSC MP-M Series
This driver is for QSC's MP-M Music and Paging Zone Mixers. It was written using an MP-M80 with firmware 1.1
Version History
1.0 - Initial Release
Commands Available
MP-M firmware 1.1 contains a minimal API. Control is available for zone source switching and volume control only. It does let you switch Scenes, either by selecting them from a scene list, or by entering the name of the scene as parameter of a commands.
Variables
Zone names entered into the configuration are available as variables, as well as the volume and source of the zone. The source is an integer variable, but the driver creates the name text from the config when dragged onto a button. Source name text is available as well.
A two-way list of scenes can be used for browsing and selecting preset scenes created in one of the apps for the system. Presets cannot yet be saved.
A boolean variable for the connection state is included.
Events
Besides the connection state, the events in the driver are used for source changes. Zones have an event any time they change sources, and there is a separate event for every zone they switch to or from.
