Panasonic TV

This driver is for Panasonic Smart Televisions with Ethernet connectivity.

This driver will not work with Panasonic TV’s that are manufactured in Turkey as they are just rebranded Vestel TV’s.

Driver Configuration Settings:

IP Address - The IP address of the TV. Please ensure this is a static IP address.

Mac Address - The MAC address of the TV. In the format of 12:34:56:78:90:11

WOL Port - The WOL Port to use (Either 7 or 9)

Save TV Info – This saves the control uuid of the TV to persistent memory, so after a reboot of the processor you can control the TV immediately.

TV Type - Select the Type of TV you want to control. Options are –

1. Pre 2014 (For Tv’s Made before 2014, The only feedback you get is Power)

2. Pre 2018 (For TV’s Made Before 2018, Old Control Protocol With Feedback)

3. 2018+ (For TV’s Made After 2018, New Control Protocol)

It is Important to choose the correct Option.

TV Configuration Settings:

Network > TV Remote App Settings > TV Remote - On

Network > TV Remote App Settings > Powered On by Apps - On

Network > TV Remote App Settings > Networked Standby – On

First time you upload the project you will need to do a Network Status test.

Network > Network Status.

Power On Info

This driver uses Wake On Lan to turn the TV on.

This should work for all TV’s that support WOL.

Functions:

Power On – Should work on 2019 Models

This function switches the TV on.

Power On (WOL)

This function switches the TV on.

Power Off - (2018+ Models Only)

This function switches the TV off.

Power Toggle

This function changes the power state of the TV.
