Description:
This driver is for McIntosh C48/50 Preamplifiers and MHT100/200 A/V System Controllers, connected to the XP processor via RS-232.

McIntosh C48/50 Preamp / McIntosh MHT100/200 A/V System Controller
This driver was designed and tested with a McIntosh C50 Preamplifier. MHT100/200 A/V System Controller capabilities are included but have not been thoroughly tested.

RS-232 Connection
The Serial (RS-232) connection on the McIntosh preamp should be connected with a straight through cable to the XP series processor serial adapter.
The baud rate of the Serial (RS-232) port can be set between 9600-115200. Default for C48/50 is set to 152000. Default for MHT100/200 is set to 9600.
RS-232 Connection
Model - Select the device model in use. This setting determines the way some variables are written for proper feedback.
Driver Notes
- Zone 2 control is only available on MHT100/200 models.
- Tuner control is only available on MHT100/200 models.
- USB transport control is only available on C48/50 models.
- C48/50 and MHT100/200 units have a different subset of trim capabilities. Make sure to use the appropriate trim commands and variables for the device in use.
- Commands using sustain may need to be adjusted to a higher repeat rate when using a MHT100/200 A/V System Controller.
