Description:

This driver is for the Integra iPod Docks with AirPlay connected to the XP processor via ethernet.

Integra iPod Dock w/AirPlay (DMI-40.4)

This driver was created from the Integra Serial Communication Protocol (ISCP) Version 1.03 dated August 2012 and tested on an Integra DMI 40.4. All commands are included even though there are several that work incorrectly or not at all. It is hoped that iPod functionality will improve as firmware is updated.

Revision History

1.0 The Initial release of the driver

Commands

Transport control is available both for iPod and AirPlay although Repeat and Shuffle only work for the iPod (altough the repeat/shuffle status is not currently reported correctly). The Up and Down navigation commands work but there is not currently a command for Select so at this point there is not workable navigation of the iPod from the driver.

There are Source commands for iPod and AirPlay although AirPlay still has to launched from the iDevice so the command is not really needed.

Variables

Metadata is available for the current tune for both iPod and AirPlay music. Elapsed time and track length also work but the track count is not currently functional. Shuffle and Repeat status could also be called intermittent but in fact rarely work. You can use the commands to change it, it just doesn't get reported correctly to the driver.

Events

Changes in transport status trigger repective events. There are also AirPlay and iPod events when the source changes. In addition the AirPlay event will trigger with every time the music is started or stopped
