RTI System Requirements
Integration Designer: 11.10 or later.
XP FW: 23.5.11 or later.
Manufacturer Requirements
Should work with the full EPC series of PDU’s.
The following settings should be set in the PDU before loading the driver :
Configuration/Protocols
TCP/IP Console (If you want to use IP Control)
Enable Telnet – yes
Telnet TCP Port – set to the port you want to use (Default is 23)
Raw Mode – yes
Active Negotiation – no
Activate Echo – no
Push Messages – yes
Enable SSH – no
Require user login (Telnet/SSH) – Select yes or no
If you select yes:
Use radius server passwords – no
Use locally stored passwords – yes
Username – Enter Username to use (This needs to also be used in the driver)
Set new password – Enter Password to use (This needs to also be used in the driver)
Repeat password – Re-enter the password
Serial Console (If you want to use RS232 Control)
Enable serial console – yes
Raw mode – yes
Activate echo – no
Enable binary KVM protocol – no
Enable UTF-8 support – no
Push messages – yes
Require user login (Telnet/SSH) – Select yes or no
If you select yes:
Use radius server passwords – no
Use locally stored passwords – yes
Username – Enter Username to use (This needs to also be used in the driver)

Make sure you click on Apply
Driver Configuration
Add driver to Global.
Select the model of the PDU you are going to use.
Select either Online or Offline mode. (Online mode requires the PDU to be on the same network)
If you select Offline Mode :
If the device has IP and RS232 Control - Select either IP Control or RS232 Control
If you select Online Mode :
If the device has IP and RS232 Control - Select either IP Control or RS232 Control
If you select IP Control :
Enter the PDU IP Address
Enter the PDU Telnet port (Must be the same port you entered in the PDU Configuration)
Select whether Login is required.
If you select Yes :
Enter the PDU Username (This is the Telnet Username)
Enter the PDU Password (This is the Telnet Password)
The driver will connect to the PDU and pull the config.
If you select No :
The driver will connect to the PDU and pull the config.
If you are in Online Mode :
If you don’t want ID to automatically update the PDU when you change the PDU Name or Port Names, Select Offline mode)
Renaming the PDU will automatically update and restart the PDU (This takes 10s)
Renaming any ports will automatically update the PDU.
If you need to retrieve the configuration again, Select Get Device Config (Ensure the PDU is on the same Network).
