Description:

This driver is for the Cloud DCM-1 and DCM-1e.

Cloud DCM-1/e

This driver is for the Cloud DCM-1 and DCM-1e. The driver was tested with a DCM-1 via serial connectivity only at the time of the initial driver release.

Release History

1.0 The original release of the driver.

Driver Configuration

Connection Settings

Connection Type - Select the type of connection for driver communication with the DCM-1/e Mixer.

Network (TCP) Settings

The Ethernet connection on the DCM-1/e Mixer should be connected to the Network. It is recommended that the DCM-1/e Mixer is set to a static IP address. The default network (TCP) control port is 4999.

RS-232 Serial Port Settings

The RS-232 Serial Interface on the DCM-1/e should be connected to the processor using a straight through cable. Baud Rates supported by the driver are 9600 and 19200.

Zone Names

Enter the names to use for the zones. These names will overwrite the zone names stored in the Cloud DCM-1/e and will be used throughout the driver commands, variables and events.

Group Names

Enter the names to use for the groups. These names will overwrite the groups names stored in the Cloud DCM-1/e and will be used throughout the driver commands, variables and events.

Line Input Names

Enter the names to use for the line inputs. These names will overwrite the line input names stored in the Cloud DCM-1/e and will be used throughout the driver commands, variables and events.

Microphone Names

Enter the names to use for the zones. These names will be used throughout the driver commands, variables and events.

Driver Info

- The driver is not operational during initialization. If needing to change settings on the Cloud DCM-1/e in a macro during startup, use the "Initialization State - Not Initializing" event in the driver to trigger the macro. DO NOT use the "Startup Event" in Integration Designer to trigger the macro as the driver may not be fully initialized when the event occurs.

- The Cloud DCM-1/e does not provide unsolicited feedback. If the unit is controlled outside of the driver (via the front panel or by a Cloud remote control device) the feedback will not be updated until the corresponding function is controlled from the driver. There is no automated query routine outside the driver initialization as a disruption in control of the unit may occur if the query routine were to run outside of the initialization process.
