Introduction
This driver has been designed to provide two-way control of AudioControl BijouSeries products, via TCP/IP.
Driver Installation and Configuration
Open your RTI Integration Designer system file (or use the demo programming file entitled “AudioControl BijouSeries.rti”). Select your XP series processor from the System Workplace window and choose the Drivers tab.
The AudioControl BijouSeries supports IP connectivity.
The driver features a number of configuration properties that must first be completed.
System Settings
Processor - the XP-series processor running the driver.
Bijou Model
Select the model of matrix to which you are connecting.
Driver Commands
The driver features a number of commands used for control. The exact set of commands available will depend on which switch model has been selected. To add a command:
Choose your remote control device from the System Workplace window, right click on the button to which a command is to be added and select Edit Properties.
Select the Driver Command tab and click the arrow button to display the available commands for the AudioControl BijouSeries driver.
Choose a command and click Ok.
Set Power
– Turn the device on/off
Set Input
– Set active audio input source
Set Audio Mode
– Set the active decoder mode
Set Volume
– Set speaker volume level or Headphone Volume Level
Set Mute State
– Mute/Unmute Speaker/Headphone output
Reboot
– Reboot device
Set Power Recovery
– Set power recovery state when electrical power is applied
Set 2CH MODE
– Set input default surround mode when input is 2-channel audio
Set MULTICH MODE
– Set input default surround mode when input is multi-channel audio
Set DRC
– Set input Dynamic Range Control mode
Set Signal Sense
– Set Signal Sense for input
Set Priorty Input
– Set priority input for signal sensing
Set Max Volume
– Set Max Volume for Speakers or Headphones
Set On Volume
– Set On Volume for Speakers or Headphones
Set Headphone Follow
– Set Headphone to follow speaker volume
Set Sub Mute State
– Mute/Unmute Subwoofer
Set EQ Enable/Disable State

Set Input Gain
Set input positive gain offset
Set Volume Defeat
Set input volume defeat state
Set Ouput Channel EQ
Set output channel parametric EQ band gain in dB
Driver Variables
The driver features a number of variables, providing feedback from the AudioControl system.
Operational Mode
– Reports the current connection status.
Power is On
– Boolean State of device power
Power Recovery
– Booleans and String for Device Power Recovery Setting
Input Selection
– Booleans and String for current selected Input
Volume Level
– Volume level for Speakers and Headphones
Mute Status
– Mute Status for Speakers and Headphones
Channel Mode
– Mutli and Two Channel settings per Input
Dyanmic Range Control
– Current DRC Settings for available Inputs
Signal Sense
– Current Signal Sense settings for available Inputs
Subwoofer Mute Status
– Current Subwoofer mute status
EQ Status
– Current EQ State enabled or disabled
Troubleshooting
The driver cannot control the AudioControl system
Confirm the Ethernet switch used by the AudioControl system is correctly uplinked to the same network as the RTI processor.
Confirm that the correct IP address is defined in the RTI driver properties for the AudioControl control interface.
