AVPro Edge | ConferX | 3.00

Introduction

This driver has been designed to provide two-way control of AVPro Edge ConferX Series of devices, via TCP/IP and Serial (RS232) Ensure that the device is connected to the same network as the RTI processor and is accessible through its web interface. It is recommended that the device is set up with a static IP or reserved address on the router. Please make sure the device is correctly set up and working independently before integration with this driver.

Driver Configuration

System Configuration

Connection Type: Select the desired connection type: Network (TCP) or Serial (RS232)

IP Address: If Network (TCP) is selected, enter the device’s IP address.

Serial Port: If Serial (RS232) is selected, choose the appropriate serial port from the list.

Input Names

• Enter source names for the inputs.

Output Names

• Enter zone names for the outputs.

Driver Functions

Output Routing

Switch Output
Routes the selected Input to the chosen Output (or All Outputs).
Parameters:

• Select Input – Choose the source input (e.g., Input 1–N; only inputs with labels appear).

• Select Output – Choose a specific output zone or All Outputs.

Output Setup

EX-Audio Volume Ramp
Adjusts the audio volume Up or Down for a selected output.
Parameters:

• Direction – Up or Down.

• Select Output – Choose a specific output.

EX-Audio Volume
Sets the audio volume to a specific level for a selected output.
Parameters:

• Level (0–100) – Target volume.

• Select Output – Choose a specific output.

EX-Audio Output Enable
Enables, disables, or toggles the audio path for one output.
Parameters:

• Select Output – Choose a specific output or All Outputs.

• Audio Enable / Disable – Enable, Disable, or Toggle.

Set HDMI/HDBT Audio Mute
Mutes, unmutes, or toggles mute for one output or All Outputs.
Parameters:

Select Output – Choose a specific output or All Outputs.

Audio Mute Enable / Disable – Mute, Unmute, or Toggle.

Video Setup

HDMI Video Output Mode
Sets the HDMI Output Mode for Supported Outputs
Parameters:

• Mode – 2k-4k , Bypass

• Output - Output to switch mode on

HDBT Video Output Mode
Sets the HDBT Output Mode for Supported Outputs
Parameters:

• Mode – 2k-4k , ICT Mode

• Output - Output to switch mode on

Switch Mode
Sets the Switch
Parameters:

• Mode – Single , Double

Stream Mode
Sets the Stream Mode for Outputs
Parameters:

• Setting – On , Off

• Output - Output to switch mode on

API Passthrough

API Passthrough Command
Sends Custom API Command to unit
Parameters:

• Message – String to be sent

RS232 Passthrough

Output RS-232 Passthrough
Sends RS232 Command out of specified Output
Parameters:

• Output – Output used to emit command

• Baudrate – Baud rate to be used e.g 9600

Input RS-232 Passthrough
Sends RS232 Command out of specified Input
Parameters:

• Input – Input used to emit command

• Baudrate – Baud rate to be used e.g 9600

Output Signal Generator
Sends Custom API Command to unit
Parameters:

• Output – Output used to set state

• State – Enable , Disable

Reboot
Reboots the Unit

Status

Connection Status
Boolean indicating whether the driver is currently connected (True = connected).

Operational Mode
String showing the current operational state (e.g., Connecting, Operational).

Input

Label
User-assigned friendly name of the input taken from the driver configuration settings.

Output

Label
User-assigned friendly name of the Output taken from the driver configuration settings.

Output Current Input Name
String Value of the currently selected Input on corresponding Output

Output Current <Input>
Boolean that is True when the given input is currently selected on the output. There will be one of these for each of the named inputs specified in the driver configuration settings.

Volume
Current volume level for the output.

Output Mute
Boolean that reports true if the current output is muted

Output HDMI/HDBT Mute
Boolean that reports true if the HDMI or HDBT State is muted

HDMI/HDBT Mute Toggle (F/V)

• Function usage: Toggles HDMI/HDBT Status for corresponding output

• Variable usage: Shows the Boolean state of HDMI/HDBT Output state

Signal Generator: Disable (F)

• Function usage: Sets Signal Generator to Disabled for corresponding output

Signal Generator: Enable (F)

• Function usage: Sets Signal Generator to Enabled for corresponding output

Stream: Off (F)

• Function usage: Sets Stream Off for corresponding output

Stream: On (F)

• Function usage: Sets Stream On for corresponding output

Switch Mode: Double (F)

• Function usage: Sets Switch Mode to Double

Troubleshooting

If the driver cannot control the AVPRO EDGE ConferX system, confirm the following:

The Ethernet switch used by the AVPRO EDGE ConferX system is correctly connected to the same network as the RTI processor.

The correct IP address is defined in the RTI driver properties for the AVPRO EDGE ConferX control interface.
