Puts your Dyson connected fans, heaters, purifiers and humidifiers on your RTI panels — power, fan speed, Auto, Night, oscillation (on/off and angle), airflow direction, continuous monitoring and sleep timer, plus heat with a target temperature on Hot+Cool models and humidify with a target humidity on Humidify+Cool models. It reads everything the device senses — temperature, humidity, PM2.5, PM10, VOC, NO2, an overall air-quality rating, and HEPA/carbon filter life — and exposes each reading as both a value and a labelled state, so a single text field or a colour-coded button just works.

One instance covers your whole Dyson home: every fan, heater, purifier and humidifier comes in as its own capability-gated source, so a Pure Cool shows fan controls, a Hot+Cool gets a full RTI Climate page, and a Humidify+Cool adds humidity — no dead buttons. Each device fires its own automation events (came online or went offline, power on/off, air-quality alert or cleared, filter low, fault) so a Dyson can trigger any RTI macro.

New in v1.1: the driver now covers the newer stickerless Dyson models as well as the older ones, with one-click MyDyson setup. Choose how each install connects — LOCAL talks to each Dyson directly over your network, CLOUD reaches it through the official Dyson cloud with no LAN access needed, or AUTO runs local and falls back to cloud on its own. The headline is that almost every Dyson — sticker or stickerless — runs rock-solid on LOCAL: the local credential is fetched once and never expires, so there's no cloud in the day-to-day path and no account to keep signed in. For older units with a Wi-Fi/Product password on the device or box card you simply type it in; for the newer stickerless models you sign in to MyDyson once and the driver fetches that same local credential for you automatically — then it runs local from then on.

Cloud mode is the niche fallback for the cases Local can't reach — a device that isn't on the processor's network, or a unit Dyson has locked to cloud-only — and it rides a MyDyson sign-in that may occasionally need re-linking, so it's a capability you switch on when you need it rather than a set-and-forget default; if a cloud link ever needs re-linking the driver tells you instead of failing silently. The connection self-heals on its own after any network blip.

Works across the Dyson air-treatment line — Pure Cool and Pure Cool Link (TP02/TP04/TP07/TP09/TP11), Pure Hot+Cool and Hot+Cool Link (HP02/HP04/HP07/HP09), and Pure Humidify+Cool (PH01/PH02/PH03/PH04). One license per processor. 120-minute MAC-locked free trial — try before you buy.

Dyson Air - v1.1

Custom Control Drivers LLC

Control your Dyson connected fans, heaters, purifiers and humidifiers from RTI - on your local network, entirely through Dyson's cloud, or both. One driver instance covers your whole Dyson home; each device is its own source (a fan gets fan controls, a Hot+Cool adds a heat/temperature Climate page, a Humidify+Cool adds humidity).

QUICK VERSION

Newer units (no Wi-Fi sticker): enter your MyDyson account under Driver Settings, run the two MyDyson menu actions, set Control Mode, Deploy. Older units with a sticker: scan the LAN, type in each Serial + Wi-Fi password, Deploy. Details below.

WHAT IT CONTROLS

Power, fan speed (1-10), Auto, Night, oscillation (on/off + angle), airflow direction, continuous monitoring, sleep timer, reset-filter. Heating + target temperature on Hot+Cool models. Humidify + target humidity on Humidify+Cool models. Reads temperature, humidity, PM2.5, PM10, VOC, NO2, air quality, and HEPA/carbon filter life - each exposed as both a value and a labelled state for buttons and feedback.

CONTROL MODE (Advanced - choose how the driver reaches your devices)

- Local Only (the default): controls each device directly on your LAN. Fastest, needs no internet, and needs each device's IP address. Requires a local credential (from the sticker, or fetched once from MyDyson).

- Cloud Only: controls every device entirely through Dyson's cloud. No LAN access to the devices is needed and no device IP is required - just a one-time MyDyson sign-in (see below). This is also the way to reach the newer units where Dyson disabled local control (Formaldehyde K/E and some Big+Quiet).

- Auto (Local, Cloud fallback): tries local first and falls back to the cloud for any device it cannot reach on the LAN. Best of both - local speed when the device is reachable, cloud reach when it is not.

SUPPORTED MODELS

Dyson connected fans, heaters, purifiers and humidifiers. The whole air-treatment line is covered: Pure Cool / Cool Link (TP02/04/07/09/11), Pure Hot+Cool / Hot+Cool Link (HP02/04/07/09), Pure Humidify+Cool (PH01/02/03/04) and Big+Quiet (BP0x). Older units control over the LAN (Local mode); the newest units that Dyson moved cloud-only (Formaldehyde K/E variants, some Big+Quiet) control through Cloud Only or Auto mode. Robot vacuums, Lightcycle lights and headphones are NOT air-treatment devices and are out of scope.

SETUP - newer units with NO sticker (one-time MyDyson sign-in)

1. In Driver Settings, under "Dyson Account", enter your MyDyson Email, MyDyson Password, and Account Region (the 2-letter country your MyDyson account is registered in, e.g. US, GB, DE). IMPORTANT: the region must match the account's region or sign-in fails.

2. Run the action "MyDyson: 1. Sign In (get code)" (the lightning-bolt actions in Driver Configuration). Dyson emails you a sign-in code.

3. Paste that code into "MyDyson Code (one-time)" in Driver Settings.

4. Run "MyDyson: 2. Add My Devices". The driver signs in, adds ALL your Dyson devices automatically (assigning each to the right source and filling in its Serial), saves your sign-in so Cloud / Auto mode can work, and - for local-capable units - finds each device's IP on the network where it can.

5. Set Advanced > Control Mode (Local Only / Cloud Only / Auto), then Deploy. For Local Only or Auto, enter any device IP the scan could not find, from your router.

This all happens inside Integration Designer - no separate PC tool is required. (A standalone companion tool is also available if you prefer to run it outside Integration Designer.)

SETUP - older units WITH a Wi-Fi sticker (Local mode, no account)

Use this path ONLY for older units that still have a Wi-Fi / Product sticker. If your unit has NO sticker, do NOT use the LAN scan - use the MyDyson sign-in above, which fills in the Serial + credential and sorts each device into the right source for you.

1. Run "Find Sticker Devices on LAN". This is just a network scan - it ONLY finds device IP addresses; it canNOT read a serial or tell a heater from a fan, so it lists every device it finds under Pure Cool / Purifier with the Serial and Wi-Fi Password left blank for you to fill in.

2. For each device, from the sticker on the machine (or the box quick-start card) enter its Serial (e.g. PE7-US-KCA2519A - this is the MQTT username) and its Wi-Fi / Product password (the short code next to it).

3. Move each device to the matching source so the right controls appear: a fan/purifier stays under Pure Cool; a heater goes under Pure Hot+Cool; a humidifier under Pure Humidify+Cool.

4. Leave Control Mode at Local Only, then Deploy.

SETUP - finishing up

For Local Only or Auto mode, give each Dyson a DHCP reservation so its IP does not change. Then Deploy.

NOTES

- Every device must be set up in the MyDyson app once before any control works.

- The driver learns each device's exact model automatically when it connects.

- Your MyDyson password is used ONLY at setup, sent only to Dyson's own sign-in, and is never stored on the processor. The sign-in TOKEN it returns is saved on the processor and is used at runtime in Cloud Only / Auto mode to fetch each device's short-lived cloud credentials (it is not used at all in Local Only mode).

- "MyDyson re-link needed": if Cloud / Auto mode reports this (the Cloud Link status, and the MyDyson Re-link Needed driver event), your saved sign-in has expired. Re-run "MyDyson: 1. Sign In (get code)" then "MyDyson: 2. Add My Devices", then Deploy (or run Reconnect All) to refresh it.

- The connection self-heals in every mode: it keeps a live link, reconnects automatically after a network blip or a cloud credential expiry, and reports each device's Online/Offline state.

- Readings a model does not have show as Unavailable rather than blank. Older Link models (e.g. HP02/TP02) report a combined dust + VOC index instead of separate PM10/NO2 and use a single combined filter, so those readings show Unavailable on those units.

TEMPERATURE AND HEAT (Pure Hot+Cool models)

IMPORTANT - on Pure Hot+Cool models the Desired Temperature control (the + / - buttons tagged Stat Setpoint Up and Stat Setpoint Down on the Climate page - i.e. the Set Target Temperature and Adjust Setpoint functions) sets a HEAT target, and the Dyson switches itself into Heat mode whenever that target is changed. This is by design, not a driver issue: the MyDyson app behaves the same way, and a Dyson has no cooling element, so there is no "cool" setpoint. To run the fan without heat, use the Mode (Cool / Auto) and Fan Speed (1-10) controls - the temperature + / - does not apply in those modes. If you would rather the + / - never start heating, simply reprogram those two buttons to Fan Speed Up / Fan Speed Down instead. Tap the + / - one press per step, and do not enable button "sustain" / auto-repeat on them.
