Tedee Bridge LAN – RTI Driver

Version 1.05 – requires XP-8 runtime 15 or newer.

1. Enable the API on the Bridge

Tedee app -> select Bridge -> Settings -> API -> toggle on. Note the IP address, port and token.

Leave Encrypted Token ENABLED. The driver implements the encrypted (SHA256) scheme.

2. Licence

Without a valid licence key the driver stops working 60 minutes after processor start.

One licence covers one processor (one MAC address) and one product. A key issued for this driver will not unlock other drivers on the same processor.

For v2 keys the Licensed To field is mandatory – the key will not validate without it. Enter the company name exactly as supplied.

Existing customers keep their keys. Keys issued before the v2 scheme are checked first and remain valid indefinitely. Updating the driver does not require a new key.

The processor MAC address is on the device label, on the box, or in Integration Designer.

3. Driver configuration

IP Address / IP Port: values shown in the Tedee app.

API Token: the token from the app, not the calculated api_key.

Select Number of Locks, then enter each Lock ID exactly as shown in the Tedee app. The driver matches incoming data by device ID, so the order does not matter.

4. Webhook (recommended)

Enable Webhook: on. Webhook Port: any free port above 1024 (default 8080).

Webhook Format: leave GET+NO_PARAMS unless you specifically need the JSON body.

The driver registers itself on the Bridge automatically at startup, reuses an existing registration if one matches, and removes duplicate or orphaned registrations pointing at this port. Nothing to do manually.

If the processor IP address changes, restart the driver once – it will clean up the old registration.

5. Polling

With the webhook enabled, 60 seconds is enough (resync only). With the webhook disabled use 5-10 seconds.

The Tedee API allows a maximum of one request per second; the driver enforces this internally.

6. Notes

Lock, Unlock and Pull return immediately – the movement takes up to 3 seconds. The driver re-reads the state automatically 3 and 6 seconds after each command, so no extra macro steps are needed.

Pull Spring must be calibrated in the lock before the Pull command will work.

The Driver Commands category provides: Refresh Lock State Now, Re-register Webhook On Bridge, and Remove Webhook From Bridge (use this one before removing the driver from a system).

Enable Trace in the hidden Debug Settings for diagnostics. The API token is never written to the trace.
