Zenty Matrix Switch ZT-MT16EA Driver

Overview

This driver provides control of Zenty ZT-MT16EA matrix switches via RS-232 or TCP/IP connections. The driver supports routing of inputs to outputs with real-time status monitoring.

Features

· RS-232 and TCP/IP communication

· Input to output routing

· Multi-zone support (up to 16 outputs)

· Real-time connection monitoring

· Status queries and updates

· Auto-programming support

Configuration

Connection Settings:

1. Select connection type (RS-232 or TCP/IP)

2. For RS-232: Select the serial port

3. For TCP/IP: Enter IP address and port number

Matrix Configuration:

1. Set number of inputs (1-32)

2. Set number of outputs (1-32)

System Functions

Route Input to Output

Routes a specific input to a specific output.

Route Input to All

Routes an input to all outputs simultaneously.

Output On/Off

Turns individual outputs on or off.

Query Status

Queries the current routing status of the matrix.

System Variables

Connection State

Shows the current connection status (Connected/Disconnected).

Output X Input

Shows which input is currently routed to each output (1-32).

Protocol

The driver implements a standard matrix protocol:

set outX inY - Route input Y to output X

set all inY - Route input Y to all outputs

set outX on/off - Turn output X on or off

get status - Query current routing status

Troubleshooting

1. Enable debug mode to see communication logs

2. Check serial port settings or IP address

3. Verify matrix switch is powered on

4. Use TraceViewer to monitor communication
