Just Add Power Advanced Tiler

The Just Add Power Advanced Tiler driver provides centralized layout and source-presentation control for one compatible Just Add Power Ultra Series Tiling Encoder over a standard local HTTP connection. The driver supports four standard layouts, including Single View, Large Left + Three Right, Large Top + Three Bottom, and Quad, plus up to 10 reusable, dealer-named custom layouts defined in Driver Properties. It provides primary-video and audio-source selection, analog stereo-output volume and delay control, targeted soft reboot of the Encoder or any of its four internal Decoders, validated custom-layout syntax, serialized command handling, command-result feedback, events, and detailed communication diagnostics. Matrix source routing to the four internal Decoders remains under the existing Just Add Power matrix driver, allowing this driver to remain focused on advanced Tiling Encoder presentation and utility functions.

Just Add Power Advanced Tiler
Version 1.2
The Just Add Power Advanced Tiler driver centralizes reusable layout control for one Ultra Series Tiling Encoder. It communicates directly from the RTI XP processor to the Encoder component through the local justAPI HTTP interface. This is a free driver and does not require a license key.
Supported Control
Standard Layout provides Single View, Large Left + Three Right, Large Top + Three Bottom, and Quad.
Custom Layout provides up to ten dealer-named p4p.sh layouts configured in Driver Properties.
Set Primary Video selects Decoder 1 through Decoder 4.
Set Audio Source selects Channel 1 through Channel 4.
Analog Audio Output provides volume from 0 through 11 and delay from 0 through 175 milliseconds for the analog Stereo Out connection.
Utilities - Reboot soft-reboots the named Encoder or one of the four named Decoder components.
The driver controls tiler geometry and primary video and audio selection. It does not route sources to the four internal Decoders. Continue using the existing Just Add Power matrix driver for source routing.
The Just Add Power justAPI 1.1.2 specification requires justOS firmware B1.1.0 or newer.
Important Addressing Requirement
A Tiling Encoder contains four Decoder components and one Encoder component. Enter the IP address of the Encoder component. Do not enter one of the four internal Decoder addresses. All layout commands must be sent to the Encoder IP address.
Driver Setup
1. Add Just Add Power Advanced Tiler to the project.
2. Enter a friendly Tiling Encoder Name.
3. Enter the Tiling Encoder IP Address.
4. Leave HTTP Port at 80 unless the installation intentionally uses another port.
5. Under Tiler Decoders, enter the friendly name, IP address, and HTTP port for each of the four internal Decoder components.
6. Retain the default command-handling values unless troubleshooting indicates otherwise.
7. If custom layouts are needed, enable Define Custom Layouts and select a count from 1 through 10.
8. Enter a friendly name and complete p4p.sh command for every enabled custom layout.
9. Send the project to the XP processor and test the commands.
Standard Layout
Single View sends _4in1_layout.sh 1 and disables the multi-window presentation.
Large Left + Three Right sends _4in1_layout.sh 2.
Large Top + Three Bottom sends _4in1_layout.sh 3.
Quad sends _4in1_layout.sh 4.
Custom Layouts
Custom Layout names entered in Driver Properties appear in the command dropdown. Commands must begin with p4p.sh and use the documented layer, channel, horizontal position, vertical position, width, and height tokens. The driver validates the command and rejects unsafe syntax or geometry outside the 1920x1080 canvas.

Primary Video
Primary Video selects which physical Decoder becomes Channel 1. Remaining channels rotate from that selection. Decoder 1 is recommended in most installations because physical Decoder and Channel numbers then correspond directly.
Audio Source
Set Audio Source selects the channel that supplies output audio. Only one channel can supply audio. The Tiling Encoder requires two-channel source audio.
Analog Audio Output
Set Volume controls only the analog Stereo Out connection. Level 0 mutes, level 10 matches the HDMI source level, and level 11 provides slight amplification. It does not change HDMI audio level.
Set Delay controls only the analog Stereo Out connection and accepts a manually entered value from 0 through 175 milliseconds. Use it to align external analog audio with the compiled video.
Both commands use dedicated justAPI audio endpoints on the Encoder IP address. Last Commanded Analog Volume and Last Commanded Analog Delay report commands accepted through this driver and do not discover changes made by the physical buttons or another control interface.
Reboot Utility
Reboot displays the friendly Encoder and Decoder names configured in Driver Properties. It sends reboot through the selected endpoint's local justAPI interface. The selected endpoint immediately restarts and temporarily interrupts video and audio. Reboot each endpoint separately when all five components must be restarted. A disconnect after the complete reboot command is transmitted is treated as command acceptance because a reboot may close the HTTP connection before sending a response. This confirms dispatch, not completion of the boot process.
Feedback
Last Commanded variables report the latest command successfully accepted through this driver. They do not discover changes made with physical buttons, another driver, Telnet, or another control system. Online and Offline feedback is updated by command attempts because this driver does not continuously poll the Encoder.
Logging
Enable Trace reports startup, commands, validation failures, communication failures, and recovery. Verbose HTTP Trace additionally reports each request, response, HTTP status, and elapsed request time. Leave tracing disabled during normal use.
